ORIX METRO Launches Adopt-a-Forest Partnership at Masungi Georeserve

Demonstrating its continued commitment to environmental stewardship, ORIX METRO volunteers recently participated in a meaningful conservation activity at Masungi Georeserve in Baras, Rizal, marking the official launch of the Adopt-a-Forest collaboration at the Upper Marikina Watershed.

Together with Masungi Georeserve Co-Founder Billie Dumaliang, ORIX Rental Corporation President Jun Bacabac, Operations Group Head Aura Montenegro, Operations and Corporate Services Group Head Mike Bautista, and fellow ORIXers, the team came together with a shared purpose: to help protect and preserve the environment through small yet impactful actions.

The activity also marked ORIX METRO’s fourth participation in the Legacy Trail and its fifth overall visit to Masungi Georeserve. As part of the initiative, volunteers planted Narra trees, symbolizing the company’s growing commitment to sustainability and its long-term investment in environmental conservation.

Through its partnership with Masungi Georeserve, ORIX METRO supports the restoration of the Upper Marikina Watershed, a vital ecosystem that plays a key role in water security, forest protection, and biodiversity conservation. This collaboration reflects the company’s value of Malasakit for Nature, turning purpose into action while contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.

By working together to nurture and protect natural resources, ORIX METRO continues to create meaningful impact beyond business, helping ensure that future generations can benefit from a healthier environment.
