ORIX METRO Partners with ICM to Uplift Ultra-Poor Families through TRANSFORM Program
ORIX METRO proudly continues its partnership with International Care Ministries (ICM) through the TRANSFORM program. This time, we are expanding our focus from addressing hunger to strengthening livelihoods in some of the poorest communities in the Philippines. Transform Program is designed to address the wide range of needs faced by ultra-poor families. Transform starts by creating supportive environments where hope can grow, then invests in building sustainable systems to enable people to rise out of poverty.
For the past three years, we have walked alongside ICM in reaching families who live on as little as 45 pesos a day. Now, we are deepening that commitment not by simply offering relief, but by helping build the skills and resilience that create lasting change.
Instead of just giving them fish, we are helping them learn how to fish. We empower families through:
- Health education to prevent illness before it starts
- Sustainable livelihood training to spark income opportunities
- Values formation to cultivate hope and purpose
- Community support to sustain transformation
This is how we move poverty alleviation forward. We invest in human potential and help break the cycle of dependency. Through TRANSFORM, we reaffirm our malasakit for those who need it most and our belief that progress starts when people are given the tools to thrive.
