Bringing Back our Malasakit at Pogo Lasip Elementary School
As students begin a new school year filled with opportunities to learn and grow, ORIX METRO returned to Pogo Lasip Elementary School in Dagupan, Pangasinan, to help make their journey a little brighter.
The school holds a special place in our hearts, as it was where we shared an impactful journey through our Better You, Better Me Program, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative designed to support and uplift students facing challenges in their education due to financial constraints, limited resources, malnutrition, and other social or environmental factors. This time, guided by our commitment to Malasakit, we came back to continue supporting the students, teachers, and the entire school community.
Together with ORIX METRO Dagupan Branch, led by North Luzon Division Head Jeanne Catallo, Dagupan Branch Head Benigno Aquino, and officers and staff, we conducted a Feeding Program, led a Tree-planting Activity, and donated teaching and cleaning materials to support the school’s needs. Through these initiatives, we helped provide nourishment to students, support educators in creating a positive learning environment, and contribute to a cleaner and greener school.
As we reconnected with the school community, we were reminded that meaningful impact is built both by the programs we implement and through the relationships we continue to nurture. At ORIX METRO, Malasakit means continuous investment in the communities we care for and serve.
