Continuing Tradition of Malasakit: Giving Blood, Giving Life
Every quarter, ORIX METRO continues its tradition of Malasakit through our Blood Donation Drive, bringing our people together to give something that can make a life-changing difference.
For our 4Q FY2026 Blood Donation Drive, 27 ORIXers donated approximately 12.15 liters of blood, potentially helping save up to 81 lives. The drive also marked a special milestone for four ORIXers who completed their eighth donation entry on their Blood Donor Cards, marking two years of their blood donation journey with ORIX METRO.
This initiative is part of our continued commitment to helping address the ongoing need for blood supplies, particularly for patients battling dengue and cancer.
For FY2026, ORIX METRO has donated a total of 49.05 liters of blood, equivalent to approximately 109 blood packs and potentially helping save up to 327 lives.
According to the Philippine Red Cross benchmark, every 450–500 cc pack of donated blood can help save up to three lives.
